Keed began rapping at age 16 after the death of a friend named Rudy. “It was like, ‘He’s young and he’s gone,” Keed told The FADER in 2018. “He ain’t even lived no type of life and it got took away. It opened my eyes up like, I gotta do something different.”

That same year, Keed released the mixtapes Trapped on Cleveland 2 and Keed Talk to ’Em after signing to YSL, Young Thug’s record label. “Folks be telling me like, ‘You remind us of Thug,” Keed said. “So, I know I’m doing something right. He made it out the same exact spot I’m in.”

Cardi B Puts Offset On Alert Says This Year It’s All About Getting Her Worth

Cardi B is making sure the public aware that she knows her worth and some fans are pointing to Offset.

The “Up” rapper admitted that she has settled for less in the past, but NO MORE. Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, has signed numerous deals with big brands, including Uber and Facebook. However, in an interview for the cover of XXL, the rapper informed readers that she plans to get even richer, as she deserves all this and more.

“I feel like I’ve been on deals before that like, yeah, I got paid, but I feel like I deserved more. And I made sure this year that I get everything I deserve. Not just on music deals but on everything,” The 28-year-old said.

Cardi B, who is born of a Dominican father and a Trinidadian mother, also spoke about race and gender and the role it plays when assessing her value in the entertainment industry.

“For example, sometimes I feel like a company might see, you know, a girl like me, a colored girl like me. I’m a colored girl and I’m from the ‘hood and sh*t. And they might be like, ‘Oh, we could offer her a $2 million advance.’ And the company is gonna make out of you, probably fu**ing $50 million, $100 million. And you settle for $2 million because they think that you’re so thirsty for that money that they just gonna give you the $2 million,” she said.

The Grammy award-winning rapper assessed the realities of being a black woman in the entertainment industry, as much as she does not like to blame racial issues in America.

“It’s just like, sometimes you do see that race really matters and sh*t because I’ve been seeing some influencers, that are not, you know, like me. Caucasian influencers. And they’re getting paid big money. I’m a whole artist. And there is other artists that I know how much they’re getting paid,” She explained.

She added that she has been doing her research and has realized that she was “ripped the f**k off” but has made up her mind that she will no longer be accepting mediocrity but will, in fact, be going for what she deserves.

By doing this, the rapper said she had surrounded herself with good people and credited her husband, rapper Offset, for his financial advice. Still, some fans thinks she should also asked for what she deserves from Offset as they point out to his past infidelity.

DJ Paul and Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia filed a $6.45 million copyright infringement lawsuit against $uicideBoy$ in June, according to a report in XXL. Paul and Juicy J are accusing the New Orleans rap duo of “illegally sampling and stealing” elements from 35 different Three 6 Mafia songs.

In court documents viewed by XXL, attorneys for Three 6 Mafia claim that $uicideBoy$ have received royalty payments from songs that lift elements from the original Three 6 Mafia compositions. They point to the Three 6 Mafia songs “Mask and Da Glock,” “Mafia Niggaz (Yeah Hoe)” and “Smoked Out, Loced Out” as examples — the instrumentals for these songs were used by $uicideBoy$ and released online as “Ma$k and da GlocK,” “BREAKDALAW2K16,” and “Smoked Out, Loced Out.”

“Defendants’ infringing songs have garnered millions of streams on YouTube.com, Spotify, Soundcloud, and Apple music for which they have received royalties payments,” the documents read. Juicy J and DJ Paul are seeking $1,200,000 for “compensatory and actual damages, including [d]efendants’ profits from infringement, in an amount in excess of $1,200,000” and $5,250,000 in statutory damages.

$uicideboy$ have denied the allegations in documents reportedly filed by their attorneys. In their response, the group claim that Three 6 Mafia do not own the copyrights for the songs in question. $uicideBoy$ also claim that Juicy J verbally agreed to clear the samples as an exchange for the group’s work on the Juicy J mixtapes Highly Intoxicated and shutdafuckup. $uicideboy$ note that they did not receive “any fees, royalties or other compensation for their production services, unpublished beats, and creative contributions” for either of the Juicy J mixtapes.

The FADER has reached out to representatives for Three 6 Mafia and $uicideboy$.

[Chorus]
Get the fuck off now, get the fuck off my dick
Hard to tell which one more perfect, man my art or my bitch
Hard to tell which one more perfect, man my car or my crib
Avant-garde with this shit, get your jaws off my dick

Hold up, switch the flow up, I won’t roll for nothing
Rappers ho up, then they blow up, guess who do the fucking?

Not walking through no clubs, homie you can keep your money
It don’t do nothing for me
Heard they looking for me yeah, you’se a dummy yeah
Have somebody find your body parts, run and run it yeah
Ay bay bay, ain’t for play
Steal the steaks, steal the RAF
(And them RAF’s is ugly by the way, we see you got money to spend but none the less)

[Verse 2]
I’m from Ramona, no school diploma
We caught him slipping, he in a coma
You got two choices, lose your life or your persona
I still voices from them nights I hit the corners
Walked through the MoMA
Just did the feature, hit the scene, and blew the quota
I might (?) for the sofa
Might save my Nike check and spend my Coca-Cola
Don’t count my packets, pocket rocket then you tow up
Time to glow up from the flow up how I came
You don’t know my bank, bitch don’t act like you don’t know my name
Don’t record me man, bitch you see me trying to board this plane
Don’t you touch my frame, still the one who bust you in the brain
I don’t fuck with fame, you don’t see me in no fucking chains
Ain’t no fucking slave, Def Jam make ’em put me on no pay
This the sound I made, won’t nobody knock me off my wave
I’m the god in this, fuck up off my dick

[Chorus]
Get the fuck off now, get the fuck off my dick
Hard to tell which one more perfect, man my art or my bitch
Hard to tell which one more perfect, man my car or my crib

Nicki Minaj Announced That She Is Going On Tour Next Year

Nicki Minaj announced that she is going on tour next year and she has a couple big surprises coming.

Some fans are already thinking that she may announced her new album soon or perhaps announce that she is dating Nas, which we already know that last one. On Tuesday, Nicki Minaj went on Instagram to get some things off her chest about some recent reports over an interview that she did with XXL where she said that she brought back female rap to the mainstream.

Nicki Minaj was complaining bitterly about the media twisting her words to spark controversy, which she thinks is unfair to her. She clarified what she said and at the end of her lengthy statement on Instagram, she revealed that she will be on tour next year and has some big surprises for her fans coming. “See u guys on tour next year. I got a cpl BIG surprises,” she wrote.

The Young Money rapper is currently working on her new album, a project that she says will be career-defining for her. Over the past few months she has been dropping some hints about the upcoming project but nothing concrete like the title and release date or who will be on the guest list. Nevertheless, her announcing this tour is a clear indication that she will be dropping the album soon.

Nicki Minaj covers T Magazine’s Great Issue where she spoke out about having to work much harder than her male counterparts to get the same recognition. “I had so much going against me in the beginning: being black, being a woman, being a female rapper,” she said. “No matter how many times I get on a track with everyone’s favorite M.C. and hold my own, the culture never seems to want to give me my props as an M.C., as a lyricist, as a writer. I got to prove myself a hundred times, whereas the guys that came in around the same time as I did, they were given the titles so much quicker without anybody second-guessing.”

Too many years – Kodak Black lyrics

Lyrics Kodak Black – Too many years

I done gave the jails too many years
Years that I won’t get back
And I swear I done shed too many tears
For niggas that I won’t get back
Yeah I got niggas in the graveyard
Niggas in the state yards
I swear not a day goes by
That I don’t think about the times
I wish that I could rewind.

‘Cause I done gave the jails too many years
Years that I won’t get back
And I swear I done shed too many tears
For niggas that I won’t get back
Yeah I got niggas in the graveyard
Niggas in the state yards
I swear not a day goes by
That I don’t think about the times
I wish that I could rewind.

I told my mama we gon’ be fine
So I’m up all night way after sleep time
I’m just thinkin’ ‘bout Lil Kuda
Gave my dog a dime versuri-lyrics.info
He put a buckshot in a nigga’s behind
No daddy so I grew up to the street life
But my son, I’ma keep him in the beehive
Scheming on a heist, I need to change my life
Been geekin’ all night, I’m going senile
With two niggas toting three 4-5’s
I seen a nigga play gangsta, then he broke down
Lost a lot, lost his mind in the courthouse
I’m on XXL, I’m in New York now.

‘Cause I done gave the jails too many years
Years that I won’t get back
And I swear I done shed too many tears
For niggas that I won’t get back
Yeah I got niggas in the graveyard
Niggas in the state yards
I swear not a day goes by
That I don’t think about the times
I wish that I could rewind.

I keep thinkin’ ‘bout my niggas
I think I need a jigga
I would keep on falling victim
Lost up in the system
Miss my brothers and my sisters
Damn I miss my lil one
I know sometimes I be tripping
But I just miss my niggas
I got codeine in my liver
I gave the judge a piece of me
I’m too street for the industry
But I think that’s where I need to be
‘Cause verbally, mentally, and physically I keep that heat
Me and my brother fit in
We smoking one with PnB
Niggas say they f*ck with me
But lowkey they be easin’ me
b*tches don’t mean shit to me
People tryna sentence me
How a youngin’ posted on the street, gon’ call it Sesame
1K ‘til the death of me, don’t put your life in jeopardy.
