Kanye West stokes album speculation with reported Las Vegas listening party
Could new music be on the way?

Social media was lit into a frenzy on Sunday with unconfirmed reports that Kanye West was hosting a private listening party in Las Vegas. While numerous unverified video clips purporting to be from the party were circulated, the firmest evidence of new Kanye music came from Justin LaBoy, a popular social media user also known as RespectfullyJustin.

LaBoy tweeted that on July 17, he and basketball star Kevin Durant had heard a new album from West: “The production is light years ahead of it’s time,” LeBoy wrote, “and the bars sound like he’s broke & hungry trying to get signed again.” In a potential indication of the statement’s veracity, LeBoy’s tweet was retweeted by frequent West collaborator Consequence, who also posted a picture of LeBoy and Durant with a hooded figure alleged to be West. See that below:

In a prior tweet, Consequence had shared a clip of West working on a new song with Tyler, the Creator. The tweet contains a potential release date: “Summer 21′.”

LaBoy went on to claim in subsequent tweets (which were not reposted by Consequence) that the album will be released this Friday, and that Lil Baby features on it.

While LaBoy and Consequence did not mention an album title, rumors circulated that the project is West’s long-delayed Donda. Almost exactly one year ago, Kanye West tweeted that he would release Donda on July 24, 2020. That date came and went without a project, and there’s no concrete indication yet that Donda is the album reportedly heard by LaBoy and Durant. The FADER has reached out to Kanye West’s representatives for more information.

Kanye West’s previous album, the gospel project Jesus Is King, was released in 2019. His singles “Wash Us In The Blood” featuring Travis Scott and “Nah Nah Nah” featuring DaBaby and 2 Chainz were released in 2020. He also ran for president that year, and lost.

Lil Baby Visits White House Shares Photo With VP Kamala Harris

Lil Baby recently took a trip to the White House and met with Vice President Kamala Harris.

In a post on his Instagram page, Lil Baby wrote, “Big shoutout to @vp for taking the time out her busy day to sit with me an have an open discussion! #wegottastartsomewhere.” The statement was accompanied by two images of the rapper alongside the VP in her office.

The rapper’s visit coincided with that of the family of George Floyd. Floyd was killed in an encounter with police officers in Minneapolis last year. Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of his death.

Last month, after Derek Chauvin was found guilty of murdering Floyd, U.S President Joe Biden called for lawmakers to resurrect the George Floyd Justice in Policing bill. The legislation considered under the Act, if it becomes effective, would ban chokeholds, put restrictions on the use of deadly force by law enforcement and make it easier to prosecute officers for wrongdoing.

Yesterday, Floyd’s family met with the President and other White House officials to discuss the Act, which is stalled in the Senate. Lil Baby was also present at the meeting to discuss the George Floyd act. In a post on his Instagram story where he shared a snap of the meeting, the rapper said, “The George Floyd Justice in Policing Act is overly important. Research it.”

In June last year, shortly after Floyd’s death, Lil Baby released the song “The Bigger Picture” in response to the protests over his death. The rapper has been extremely vocal about police brutality and other social issues faced by the black community.

Hundreds of people took to the streets across various US cities last night on the anniversary of Floyd’s death. Oregon police declared a riot in Portland as one of the demonstrations to commemorate Floyd’s death spiraled into chaos.

For his part in honoring Floyd’s memory, Lil Baby’s fans have expressed how proud they are of the rapper. One user commented, “He really working towards The Bigger Picture mad respect,” while another added, “Cant lie THATS BIG!!!”

Fans are now looking forward to what the rapper has in store on the political front as well as musically.

Fivio Foreign Promises Epic Comeback In First Tweet From Jail

Fivio Foreign is still behind bars, but he is viewing it as just a little setback.

The New York rapper already let his fans know that he expects his comeback to be epic. The rapper, whose real name is Maxie Ryles III, has been in the Bergen County Jail in New Jersey since April 21 after he tried to evade police who asked him to produce his license. Cops also reportedly found a weapon they believed to be his.

Yesterday, May 19, he gave his fans the reassurance that he expects to be back soon and better than before. He used Twitter to touch base.

“The come bacc is gon b different,” he wrote. “I’m readin all fan mail, I’ll b home soon I luv y’all,” he posted.

The come bacc is gon b different … I’m readin all fan mail, I’ll b home soon I luv y’all ???

— Fivio Foreign (@FivioForeign) May 19, 2021

According to reports, the “Self Made” rapper left his 2018 Mercedes Benz running in a no parking zone before entering a New Jersey Citibank on April 21. Two Fort Lee police officers approached him as he was making his way back to the vehicle, and they asked him for his license. That’s when he allegedly made a dash for it.

When one of the policemen caught up with him at a nearby parking garage, the officer allegedly noticed a loaded .25-caliber handgun fall from the rapper’s waistband. The officers called for backup, and they eventually subdued Fivio, who put up a fight before being handcuffed. One officer was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries from the scuffle.

He was eventually transported to Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, following which he was charged with weapons possession, having a defaced firearm, which had the serial number scratched off, and resisting arrest. Days following his arrest, he dropped his last track, “Unruly.” Fivio’s popularity soared after his June 2019 single “Big Drip”, which was remixed by Lil Baby and Quavo. He is currently signed to Mase’s RichFish Records and Columbia Records.

Dj Khaled – I Did It Lyrics (feat. Dababy, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion & Post Malone)

[Intro: DJ Khaled]
We The Best Music
Another one
DJ Khaled

[Chorus: Post Malone, DJ Khaled, Post Malone & DJ Khaled & Megan Thee Stallion]
Stayed down ’til I came up
I did it, I did it, I did it
Ten toes and never changed up
I did it, I did it, I did it
Got my hands in the air right now ’cause I always wanna be here right now
I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it (Ayy), I did it, I did it, I did it

[Verse 1: Megan Thee Stallion]
Take it off then bend over, let me see it
If you’re lookin’ for a trill type, bitch, let me be it
I’m from the South, never had a handout
‘Fore I let my people starve, I’ll take it out your mouth
These bitches so quick to switch up
I’m from the Lone Star, I don’t need to clique up
It ain’t directed, so it ain’t respected
Stop droppin’ clues ’cause I ain’t no detective, bitch
I’m tryna win, don’t care how I do it, just know that I did it
Why you so worried ’bout what I be doin’?
Countin’ my money ain’t makin’ you rich
Talkin’ down on me don’t make you the shit
How my name in your mouth more than your spit?
I really encourage my haters to talk
Throwin’ that shade only keepin’ me lit, huh

[Chorus: Post Malone & DJ Khaled]
Stayed down ’til I came up
I did it, I did it, I did it
Ten toes and never changed up
I did it, I did it, I did it
Got my hands in the air right now ’cause I always wanna be here right now
I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it

[Verse 2: Lil Baby]
Hey, goddammit, I get it
They don’t like to see when we win, but I did it
Hey, I stand by my city
Chopsticks sound like a guitar in the air
Stop and take a picture when I’m jumpin’ off a Lear
I done ran it up, it only took a couple years
The money be callin’, if it wasn’t for my lil’ partner

Then the bullshit they be talkin’ ’bout, I wouldn’t even hear
New sports car go, “Vroom,” switch gears
Hey, how you? Goddamn, come here
Thought of goin’ vegan, then again, I’m like, “For what?”
I got ten karats each in my left and right ears
’21 Tesla, I don’t even gotta steer
My climax ain’t even nowhere near it
I stayed down and I stayed down
And I came up, I had faith in my spirit

[Chorus: Post Malone, DJ Khaled, Post Malone & DJ Khaled & DaBaby]
Stayed down ’til I came up
I did it, I did it, I did it
Ten toes and never changed up
I did it, I did it, I did it
Got my hands in the air right now ’cause I always wanna be here right now
I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it (Go), I did it, I did it, I did it

[Verse 3: DaBaby & DJ Khaled]
Diamonds on my neck
New contract, I ain’t signin’ that ho yet
Private plane flyin’, somewhere smilin’ on the jet
I drop hit after hit, now that’s the domino effect
These niggas out here goin’ flat
Ain’t no stoppin’ it, pretty blue paper all day like Monopoly
Brand new Pradas, I’m proud of me
Actually came from the bottom
Ain’t no need in even askin’ me, ain’t even seen the half of me
And ain’t no passin’, that’s a no-go
Start them killer player niggas out here throwin’ low blows
I done got good with the shit
I tell the paparazzi, “Get my angle,” every time they take my photo (Another one)

[Chorus: Post Malone, DJ Khaled & Post Malone & DJ Khaled]
Stayed down ’til I came up
I did it, I did it, I did it
Ten toes and never changed up
I did it, I did it, I did it
Got my hands in the air right now ’cause I always wanna be here right now
I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it, I did it

Lil Baby Recruits Megan Thee Stallion For “On Me (Remix)” But Fans Wanted Omeretta

Lil Baby taps Megan Thee Stallion for a remix of his December 2020 single “On Me.” This, however, is to the displeasure of many fans who were requesting that the remix be done with other female artists, including Lakeyah, Mulatto, Omeretta, or Nicki Minaj. Some fans expressed that while they love the “Body” rapper, they are tired of seeing her on features.

“I’m getting tired of Meg the stallion on features pick someone else. Smh,” one critic wrote meanwhile another added, “I love Meg but she doesn’t need to be on everything. There’s so many other female rappers that would’ve snapped on this.”

The 26-year-old rapper has been featured on several songs, including Cardi B’s “WAP,” Maroon 5’s “Beautiful Mistakes,” “Yo Gotti’s “Pose,” among others.

Lil Baby’s “On Me” was released in December along with another single, “Errbody,” to commemorate his 26th birthday. The music video captures the rapper and his friends on expensive rides, jet-skiing, on a private jet and yacht, and basically living their best life. The latest release features a more colorful and expressive take on the topic.

The director of the video, Mike Ho, has been receiving his fair share of commendations for the contrast in scenery, ice, and fire, both beautiful in their own way. The music video features Lil Baby performing his verse before a beautiful icy fortress with Megan lip-syncing beside him and Megan performing her verse atop a roaring volcano, and at intervals, in a tundra setting.

Despite the negative comments, the song and video have been gaining traction from the public, as the two are still well-loved by their respective fans.

Both Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, and Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Jones, performed at the 63rd Grammy Awards earlier this year. Lil Baby’s unforgettable performance of “The Bigger Picture,” during which he channeled the Black Lives Matter rallies, and Megan’s spicy stripper-themed performance of WAP with Cardi B received a large number of views and comments (still both negative and positive). In addition, that night, Megan won three Grammys for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song for her “Savage” remix with Beyonce. This, therefore, means that, amid the negative comments, Meg is still doing something right.

It appears that some fans wanted Omeretta on the remix but Lil Baby opted to get Thee Stallion who has a resume of creating big hits with other rappers.

Kevin Durant Says Entire Brooklyn Nets Team Thinks Lil Baby Took Over From Drake

Kevin Durant says the entire Brooklyn Nets team listens to Lil Baby in the locker room and he’s the only one trying to keep Drake alive.

Kevin Durant is not only well known for his exploits on the court but for his superb taste in Hip Hop as well. According to his critical analysis, the Brooklyn Nets All-Star forward believes that Lil Baby is the best in the game right now.

That’s quite the endorsement from someone considered a Hip-Hop connoisseur. He made the comments when he appeared as a guest on the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast hosted by Philadelphia rap artist Gillie Da King and Wallo267. The 32-year-old NBA star popped in on their “KD” Episode 109 premiere on YouTube, which aired last Sunday (April 18).

When Durant is asked about which artists get the most play in the locker room playlists when he first made his debut in the NBA in 2007, he shared that at that time, it was Young Money star Lil Wayne. He said that was mainly because Weezy was “the guy” on top from 2002 to 2012. He also mentioned Wayne’s prolific protégés, Nicki Minaj and Drake.

However, when it comes to nowadays, it has to be Lil Baby, he added. He said the rapper helps the team to boost their energy before a match. However, he did say that he is still a big fan of Drake personally.

“When I go to the locker room, it’s mainly Lil Baby, everyone in our team is like Lil Baby is the best rapper out,” Durant said. He added: “I am the one who keeps loving Drake. I drop a joint together, those two right now taking over.”

Lil Baby is no stranger to love from the NNBA and is also a close friend of Brooklyn Nets All-Star guard James Harden. Harden infamously skipped the beginning of his former team’s Houston Rockets 2020-21 preseason training camp in December 2020 to attend Lil Baby’s birthday party instead.

Lil Durk Offers To Help Lil Baby Win His Rematch With Quavo & Jack Harlow

Can Lil Durk help Lil Baby win his rematch with Quavo and Jack Harlow?

Fans who follow Lil Baby are well aware of his skill as a rapper and an enterprising businessman. What they may not have known is how unskilled he is when it comes to basketball. At least that’s what was made apparent following the recently concluded All-Star Weekend when he was paired with 2 Chainz for a two-on-two game against Quavo and Jack Harlow.

Many didn’t think that 2 Chainz lacked skills, but rather they laid into Lil Baby’s performance. So much so that memes of his lack of skills started trending. Now Baby wants a rematch to prove he’s got what it takes to beat Quavo and Jack Harlow. He admitted to his shortcomings in the game and asked that the rematch be scheduled in 90 days so that he could get himself ready.

“Give me three months I’m setting one of these up!! Y’all got me fuc*ed up,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. The message was placed alongside a video of Harlow and himself shooting before the game. He didn’t say if they would once again battle for a $500K cash prize. DJ Akademiks caught the post and shared it with the following caption, “#lilbaby said in 3 months he finna pull up on #jackharlow and play him in basketball. Who should train lil baby to be a better basketball player?”

A lot of people have commented and said that it’s highly unlikely that he will get good enough in three months time to win, but one of his colleagues, Lil Durk, has high hopes and is even willing to offer training. Under the comment section of Akademiks’ post, he said, “All he gotta do is call me.”

Durk’s basketball skills have been highlighted on several occasions, and he’s proven that he has some superb skills on the court. He’s so confident on the court that he’s even issued challenges in the past to Chris Brown, Tory Lanez, and Quavo. Do you think Baby will be ready if he gets help from Durk?

Mystikal Says NBA YoungBoy Is His Favorite Artist Right Now

Mystikal says NBA Youngboy is among his top 3 favorite artists out right now.

Mystikal has had a rough couple of years. He has served six years in prison, was cleared of rape charges, and even found his own sister murdered in their home. While all this turmoil was taking place in his life, he was still able to continue his musical career and keep dropping hit tracks.

He did an interview recently with VladTV, where he did a thorough walk-through of his experiences over the past few years. During the interview, he mentioned Boosie Badazz and Lil Wayne as two of his all-time favorite artists. He also revealed that NBA YoungBoy was now the artiste he considered his favorite along with Lil Baby and DaBaby.

He made mention of NBA YoungBoy’s frequent legal troubles and said it “goes hand in hand.” He then issued a direct message to the young rapper. “YoungBoy, just always remember dude, you can always take refuge and take shelter in your music. That’s what he does. That why when it come out, that’s why we feel his music like that because he wear it on his sleeve.”

NBA Youngboy has faced a slew of legal issues, including being investigated by the federal authorities, and last October, he was even accused of assault. He was arrested at one point while shooting a music video. Mystikal, who is originally from New Orleans, is a rapper, actor, and songwriter. His first album “Mystikal” was released in 1994. He has done six studio albums to date, with his last album, “Tarantula,” released in 2001. In December 2020, he was cleared of rape and kidnapping charges stemming from an October 2016 incident.

He is best known for the track “Shake It Fast,” which peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

All three of the songs from Drake‘s latest EP Scary Hours 2 have debuted at the top three spots of Billboard Hot 100, as Stereogum points out. It’s the first time in the chart’s history that any artist has accomplished the feat.

“What’s Next,” the EP’s opening track, snagged the top spot, while the subsequent songs “Wants and Needs” featuring Lil Baby and “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” with Rock Ross bowed at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. The chartings also represent the career-high placings of each of the guest artists.

NBA YoungBoy Turns Down Lil Baby & 6ix9ine’s Collab Despite $1 Million Offer

YoungBoy Never Broke Again reportedly once turned down a feature with Lil Baby and $1 million for a feature with Tekashi 6ix9ine.

Even though he is one of the youngest in the game, NBA YoungBoy has always operated completely differently from his counterparts when it comes to his music. Before he even reached the legal drinking age, the Baton Rouge rapper released No. 1 albums, was named the ‘King of YouTube,’ and took a musical hiatus on several occasions for his own reasons.

While fans were already used to the rapper being so unorthodox in his career, they never could have imagined that they would learn that YoungBoy once left J. Cole hanging in the studio for eight hours, passing on the opportunity to collaborate with the iconic veteran rap star. For his own personal reasons, the rapper reportedly never showed up at the studio or had the courtesy to call. DJ Akademiks has shared some more anecdotes, and as it turns out, the 21-year-old rapper also once turned down the chance to team up with Atlanta rapper Lil Baby on a track.

In a recent commentary, DJ Akademiks recalled the time NBA YoungBoy rejected a Lil Baby collab which he thought at the time was pretty bizarre though he respected such a firm decision. “YoungBoy told me when Lil Baby hit him up for a feature,” Akademiks says in the clip. “I remember he told me, ‘Ak, I’m not doing music right now.’ And I remember saying, ‘YoungBoy, if you don’t f***ing do a song with Lil Baby, n***a …’”

Lil Baby

“Cause I gave him a whole list, I remember I sat in the car with him, I told him a whole list of n***as who he should do songs with,” he continued. “And I remember him telling me, ‘You know I can’t do a song with him.’ He was telling me all type of beefs, I was like, I didn’t know the beef was that deep. I get it. But I’m telling you the facts. This n***a YoungBoy, he don’t care about that sh*t. I remember telling him, ‘This is a no f***ing brainer.’ And he was just like, ‘Bro, I don’t care.’”

According to a rumor circulating online, YoungBoy Never Broke Again also once turned down a feature with Tekashi 6ix9ine. After the rainbow-haired rapper’s public downfall in his high profile racketeering case, which saw him become a federal informant and help bring down several members of the Nine Trey Blood gang, artists were staying wide of him and still are for fear of being associated with “a rat.”

It was, therefore, a lot less surprising to hear that NBA YoungBoy allegedly refused $1 million for that collaboration. 6ix9ine did eventually find a Platinum-selling No. 1 hit with the Nicki Minaj-assisted “Trollz” but we are yet to see any other artists take that risk. What may seem less understandable is how YoungBoy could have said no to a feature with Apple Music’s 2020 Artist of the Year, Lil Baby, but we suppose the beef was just “that deep,” as DJ Akademiks suggested.

Would you have been down with a collaboration between YoungBoy and Lil Baby?

Lil Baby And Jayda Cheaves Party Together For First Time Since Breakup

Lil Baby and Jayda Cheaves might be back together.

Atlanta rapper Lil Baby and his on-again, off-again girlfriend and baby mother Jayda Cheaves were seen busy partying last night. A short clip that was shared on Instagram shows the pair in a room with a group of persons who were drinking, smoking, and simply having a good time.

Their recent spotting was contrary to earlier speculation that they were no longer a couple. This assumption was made after Cheaves shared several tweets about her love life. “I’ve been in relationships my whole life since high school I don’t even know how to be single. I need to learn myself all over again,” she confessed.

Their recent coming together is confusing, to say the least, as fans try to figure out if they have rekindled their love or if this is just a star-studded example of what co-parenting should look like. One thing is clear both are prepared to ensure their child is taken care of despite whatever differences they may have.

Last year, amid rumors they had broken up, Lil Baby posted this message. “It ain’t no like, ‘still together.’ She my son mama, so it ain’t no way we cannot be together. Even if we not in a relationship like boyfriend and girlfriend type s**t, we got a relationship because we got a kid. We got a small kid so we gotta kick it no matter what.”

Urban Islandz reported that Cheaves also recently sold a Jeep that the rapper gave her, which of course, further fueled the rumors of a split.

Cheaves and the rapper have been romantically linked for a while, and she has even appeared in a few music videos with him, notably “Close Friends” and “Catch The Sun.” They are parents to a 2-year-old, Loyal Armani. Meanwhile, the Grammy’s has announced their performers for this year, and it turns out that Lil Baby made the cut. Probably, the recent Cheaves and Baby moment is just to celebrate the huge accomplishment with the people who are dearest to you, no matter the relationship status.

Anderson .Paak & Bruno Mars’ SilkSonic To Perform At Grammys Thanks To Twitter

If Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars should have their way, fans will most definitely be seeing them on the Grammy stage later this month.

For now, they have the uphill battle of convincing the Recording Academy to respond to their tweets and their rather long but trending hashtags #LetSilkSonicThrive.

The hashtag is a reference to the newly formed duo which the two recently dreamt up, to the pleasure of die-hearted.Paak and Mars fans. The duo has since released their breakout track “Leave The Door Open” which they are petitioning to unveil on one of the biggest nights of music. The music video has already accumulated over 14 million views on Youtube since its release on March 05.

Due to Covid-19 constraints, the show was pushed back from its usual January slot to March 14, still to be held at the legendary Staples Arena in Los Angeles. Among the names set to grace the stage are Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Megan Thee Stallion, kaytranada, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, among other urban talents.

Silk Sonic has been campaigning heavily on Twitter to get the public to champion their efforts to have themselves featured among the magnificent crop of talents. Mars penned an open letter addressed to the Recording Academy.

.Paak, who has enjoyed a major uptick in his fanbase over the last year, also joined in to give a helping hand in promoting the message.

“Nah f**k that! I haven’t seen my family in months!! I need this to work, You promised me!! Everybody join in!!! I need all of Twitter to help make this trend!! Come on @RecordingAcad #LetSilkSonicThrive,” wrote .Paak.

Within hours, the hashtag was trending in numerous locations such as Spain, United States, Colombia, Mexico, Peru’ and Brazil.

With no actual recognition from the Grammys, it seems Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak may be giving up on their valiant efforts.

You’re right. I got excited we were trending for a while today. I’m sorry I let you down. I hope you & BTS go on to do great things. ? https://t.co/kjpiGQdylP

Lil Baby shares new song/video “Real As It Gets”

Lil Baby shares new song/video “Real As It Gets”
EST Gee features on the Atlanta rapper’s new track.

By Jordan Darville

March 04, 2021

Lil Baby emerged from 2020 in a stronger position than ever before thanks to an acclaimed album (My Turn) and a protest anthem that silenced those who criticized his raps as insubstantial (“The Bigger Picture”). His first song of 2021 is “Real As It Gets,” a song featuring Kentucky rapper EST Gee. The melody of the song is menacing in a way that recalls underground Detroit hip-hop, and Baby keeps up the vibe with breathless bars full of threats and flexes. That hook is particularly killer, too. In the music video, streaming above, both rappers and their crews enlist a fleet of fancy sports cars to visit the gas station to take pictures with fans. Lil Baby, Gucci Mane, Tyga Performed At 150-Person Maskless Birthday Party In Miami

Lil Baby, Gucci Mane, Tyga and more rappers performed at a 150-person birthday party in Miami and not a mask in sight.

It is sometimes hard to believe, but we are still in the middle of a pandemic nearly a year after COVID-19 began to ravage the world. The many restrictions and adjustments we have all had to make in our day-to-day lives have become depressing and exhausting for many, but those who follow the science know that these precautions save lives.  Unfortunately, many people still ignore the consequences of their actions and continue to socialize without masks and even gather at large group events.  Artists who have organized and performed at these events continue to face backlash, the latest being Gucci Mane and Lil Baby.

Over the weekend, several rappers gathered in Miami to party it up as if the pandemic doesn’t exist.  While the partygoers include Tyga, Post Malone, and 24kGoldn, Lil Baby and Gucci are receiving the most criticism because they were performing at the event in front of a large crowd without masks.

According to reports, the South Beach turn up involved little to no social distancing measures.  The celebration was held for Electric Feel Entertainment founder Austin Rosen’s birthday and was hosted in South Beach by Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein and her husband.  The hosts reportedly said that they counted on their guests to follow an “honor system” when it comes to coronavirus measures, whatever that means.

Page Six reported that Hochstein assured the safety of her event by setting a limit of 150 guests and temperature checking guests at the door.  Most experts agree that we should all be avoiding gatherings outside our homes entirely, as well as refraining from seeing friends and family outside of our immediate household.  Seeing celebrities who refuse to follow these guidelines can be very frustrating for those of us who are making so many sacrifices in our personal and social lives.

Attendees were asked to follow COVID guidelines on the honor system, according to TMZ. Pro-COVID movement is strong. pic.twitter.com/VAIa2NfffT

Bow Wow Gets Backlash For Packed Maskless Concert In Houston

Bow Wow is getting heavy backlash for performing at a packed maskless show in Houston.

Bow Wow has come under heavy criticism after he performed in front of a packed audience in Houston, Texas, with very few masks in sight. His actions have been deemed selfish as the world continues to battle with the ongoing pandemic. Many in the world continue to wonder when any normalcy will return even as vaccinations have begun in major first-world nations.

His performance comes as a slap in the face to the more than 24 million infected Americans. Over 400k Americans have also died from the coronavirus so far as well. Admittingly, it has been tough on the entertainment industry, and many artistes have suffered as shows have been shut down across the country.

In the video that surfaced, many fans were seen screaming Bow Wow’s lyrics back to him. He faces the same type of criticism that both Lil Baby and Gucci Mane faced when they were also welcomed in Houston. Lil Baby eventually had to defend himself from the mayor of Houston for his show.

Both Bow Wow and his fans faced heat from critics for the concert. For some, what was especially troubling was that people could be clearly seen ignoring the six-foot rule while not wearing masks as well. Bow Wow also faced the fire not too long ago, when he was seen with a large group of people on a small boat.

“What’s irritating is that the idiots who do this stuff walk away unscathed. But they’ll go on to pass covid to someone who wasn’t even there, and who will wind up fighting for their life,” one fan said, another added “These people will be showing up at work, grocery store, church, school, etc. this week, spreading COVID, and getting mad at you for telling them hospitals are overwhelmed. They should all sign waivers saying they give up hospitalization so other people can get the beds.” This fan trolled Bow Wow and said that he was surprised the rapper could get such a huge crowd in 2021, “Putting the fact that we are in the middle of a global panorama aside, I’m more surprised that Bow Wow has a club packed anywhere in the year of our Lord 2021.”

Bow Wow hasn’t responded to any of this criticism as yet. You can take a look at what had so many fans up in arms about the concert below.

I thought about it and have decided I’m not willing to die for Bow Wow. https://t.co/xuPxBKKB1X

Davido and Lil Baby link up for “So Crazy”

Davido and Lil Baby link up for “So Crazy”
Taken from Davido’s upcoming album A Better Time, dropping this Friday.

By Jordan Darville

November 09, 2020

Nigerian pop star Davido returns with his third studio album A Better Time on Friday. Originally scheduled for release in October, the album was delayed in the wake of the ongoing #EndSARS movement across Nigeria. Joining the previously released single “FEM” today is “So Crazy,” a groovy heartbreak swooner featuring Lil Baby – it sounds like Davido aiming for the similar level of crossover success that he obtained with Chris Brown on “Blow My Mind.” The “So Crazy music video,” seen above, is a pool party which I pray was held pre-pandemic. There seems to be a lot of close breathing going on. Watch above and read Davido’s FADER cover story here.

Lil’ Baby & 42 Dugg – We Paid Lyrics

[Intro: 42 Dugg]
Can’t be f*cked with
Ayy, 4 Pockets, huh
(Section 8 just straight cooked this motherf*cker up)

[Verse 1: 42 Dugg]
‘Fore I go broke like Joc
f*ck with that dog like Vick (Roof)
Not that rock, that pit’
How many down to my sock
Can’t hold my Glock, reason I don’t really like that shit (Nigga, I don’t)
Young turnt nigga, can’t wife no bitch (At all)
Excuse my French, don’t like no bitch (Nope)
Limo tinted, all five of my cars, yeah, I had it hard
Seen my bitch broke bad, I ain’t had a heart
Skrrt, yeah, that’s us
Two-tone AP, yeah, I’m bust
Got the head from her, I ain’t even wanna f*ck (f*ck her)
Why? Slut, bye (f*ck on)
Nothin’ on me from Saks, everything Revive
Old nigga tellin’ on bro, should’ve died
No, he ain’t kill ’em, dawg, he ain’t even try
Still’ll bet my last from dice in the hood
Take who chain? Nah bitch, not Dugg’s
Probably in somethin’ fast with a Glock in the hood
Courtside tickets, spillin’ Wock’ on the wood

[Chorus: 42 Dugg & Lil Baby]
First turnt nigga from the hood, they curious
Four in cars, ’bout five in jewelry
I get the commas with numbers, that’s period
I got your BM wan’ put on Amiris
First young nigga in the A2 Lam’
Run up fourteen mil’, started fourteen grams (Same day)
Dope boy Dickies and diamonds and Timbs
You shouldn’t play with that boy, he is not one of them
Bro, I kept taking L’s, finally got me a M
Still making double, I don’t call what I spend
S550 2018
Gotta come twenty if you hoppin’ in the Benz
Young turnt nigga from the D to the A

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we paid
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we paid

[Verse 2: Lil Baby]
I’ma turn it up a lil’ more this time
Used to dream about gettin’ it, now I got it, I don’t drive
I had a spot like a varsity, what did you have?
You buy twenty, I’ll front what you buy
I put on drip, I believe I can I fly
Niggas know that I’m rich, but they know not to try
I had a show in Detroit and I stopped at Revive
And spent fifty on all the guys
All of these hoes in these stores make commission

And plus I’ma tip ’em, they holdin’ my size
Get in your car and just put on your flashers
And follow the hearse since you say you gon’ ride
‘Cause somebody gon’ die if they f*ck with us
Turn a five to a dime, that’s a double up
f*ck around, walk through church with my double cup
This shit a habit, I’m prayin’ I give it up
Tiger stay with the wood, make ’em give it up
Know I ran through a mil’ every week off of weed
Bro beat the trap, I can get me some sleep
Got a backend to pick up, I won’t even leave
Run it up, f*ck around, give the ‘Vette to DT
Keep a hotboy with me, I got love for BG
Chasin’ this paper since twelve or thirteen
Runnin’ ’round in these streets, it was me and Marquise

[Chorus: 42 Dugg & Lil Baby]
First turnt nigga from the hood, they curious
Four in cars, ’bout five in jewelry
I get the commas with numbers, that’s period
I got your BM wan’ put on Amiris
First young nigga in the A2 Lam’
Run up fourteen mil’, started fourteen grams (Same day)

Lil Baby – Yes Indeed lyrics

(feat. Drake)

[Intro: Drake & Future]
Yeah
Wheezy out of here

[Verse 1: Drake]
The dash, it’s digi’, the schedule busy
My head in a hoodie, my shorty a goodie
My cousins are crazy, my cousins like Boogie
Life is amazin’, it is what it should be
Been here for ten but I feel like a rookie
I tell her, “look up” ’cause it’s snowin’ in Tootsie’s
Booked for three years, man you can’t even book me
It’s me and Lil Baby, this shit goin’ crazy
Wheezy produced it and Weezy F. made me
And she held it down, so she got a Mercedes
Young Money Records, the Army, the Navy
They ran me ten thousand, I threw it like Brady
The foreign is yellow like Tracee and K.D
I trusted my niggas, they never betrayed me
Met all these niggas, they sweeter than Sadie
When I started out, I just took what they gave me
Did all the favors, they never repaid me
It worked in my favor, ’cause nobody saved me

[Chorus: Lil Baby]
Brand new whip got no keys
Tailor my clothes, no starch please
Soon as I nut, you can gon’ leave
Got M’s in the bank, like “yes, indeed”

[Verse 2: Lil Baby]
Cartier glasses, I won’t even peek at you
Yellow Ferrari like Pikachu
I got ’em waitin’ and watchin’ what he gon’ do
Tryna peep what I do, tryna steal my moves
$2,500 for a new pair of tennis shoes
The same price, I could make them youngins come and finish you
Lawyer been chargin’, he a Jewish like he voodoo
Real dope boy, hundred thousand in Evisu
Presidential tints slide by, we don’t see you
I been gettin’ money, I ain’t worried ’bout what he do
I’m gettin’ money like I’m from the ’80s
Me and Drake ’bout to drop man, this shit gon’ go crazy
They know I’m the truth, comin’ straight from the basement
I’m straight as the street, man I come from the pavement
A million, all hundreds, it make em ‘go crazy
Wah-wah-wah, bitch I’m Lil Baby

[Chorus: Lil Baby]
Brand new whip got no keys
Tailor my clothes, no starch please
Soon as I nut, you can gon’ leave
Got M’s in the bank, like yes indeed
Me and my dawgs goin’ all the way
When you livin’ like this, they supposed to hate
Brand new whip got no keys
Tailor my clothes, no starch please
Soon as I nut, you can gon’ leave
Got M’s in the bank, like yes indeed
Me and my dawgs going all the way
When you livin’ like this, they supposed to hate
