Melodic Houston rapper Don Toliver returned last week with his new single “Do It Right,” his first solo single since his 2021 project Life Of A Don. With a lively undercurrent of house and chopped-up R&B vocals providing the lead melody, the song is a sneakily addictive one, and today Toliver delivers the new track’s visuals.

Billed in a press release as “a bright prequel to Don’s new era,” the “Do It Right” video starts as a flashy, Soul Train-inspired disco and eventually transitions to a pool party where jealous partners are the last thing on anyone’s mind. It’s very stylish overall, and the “To Be Continued” title card at the conclusion hints at something called Lovesick: The Movie, likely a titular visual accompaniment to Toliver’s upcoming album.

Earlier this week Justin Bieber shared a short, fun dance-rap track called “I Feel Funny.” According to Bieber it was a teaser, an amuse-bouche if you like, to his *actual* new single “Honest” featuring Don Toliver. Today he has revealed that track alongside a video in which the pair hit the slopes in souped-up sno-mobiles. Despite looking cozy in their best puffa jackets, they manage to get involved in a shoot-out but don’t fear they are able to recuperate around a log fire. Check out the video above.

Bieber is currently in the middle of a headline tour and a surprise appearance at Coachella earlier this month, joining Daniel Caesar on stage to perform their song “Peaches.” Last year he released his latest album, Justice.

Since releasing his album WUNNA last year, Gunna has been keeping fans of his languid luxury raps fed with a steady diet of features on songs like “His & Hers” by Internet Money, Lil Uzi Vert, and Don Toliver and “Take It To Trial,” a collaboration with his mentor Young Thug. Yesterday he returned with a new song called “9 Times Outta 10,” a single billed as a collaboration with the song’s producer Taurus. It’s a celebration of Gunna’s enduring winning streak, and the song’s video features Gunna in a variety of different settings, from suburbia to the getaway car. Watch it above.
