This Friday, Brittany Howard of The Alabama Shakes will share Jaime Reworked, a remix album featuring new versions of songs from her 2019 solo album Jamie. She’s assembled quite the roster of talent already: Bon Iver, EarthGang, and Little Dragon have released Jamie remixes, and tracks from Syd, BADBADNOTGOOD, Common, 9th Wonder, Fred again.., and more are all on the way. Today’s remix comes from none other than Childish Gambino, who puts an electro-soul spin on the Grammy-winning song “Stay High.” It’s interesting to see Donald Glover release music as Childish Gambino after insisting that he was retiring the alias after the 2020 album 3.15.20, so who knows what’s happening there. Listen above.

Ellegas – Don Limpio Lyrics (feat. El Secreto Produce)

[Letra de “Don Limpio”]

[Intro]
El Secreto Produce, cabrón
Aguántalo Papi
Eh
Coño, joder, Guayonje, Guamasa, cabrón, la doble G

[Estribillo]

Aunque seas mi ex, siempre te follo bien

[Verso 2]
Ahora hol’ up, hol’up, prrrrrrrr, no me la comas
Antes lo hacía de broma hasta que me puse de moda
Y tú te me enchichonas, pero me comes la polla
Te vamo’ a dejar en coma si quieres entrar a mi zona
Yo vine pa’ ganar, me lo dijo Dios
Aunque tuve que josiar, me lo he ganao’ to’
Cuando no tenía na’
¿Dónde estabas tú?
¿Dónde estabas tú?
¿Dónde estabas tú?

[Estribillo]

Ah, ah

[Verso 3]
Nunca dejé de currar con los míos
Nunca quise tener que meterme en líos
Nunca dejé que me jodieran vivo
Mami, yo soy así y así es como yo sigo

[Outro]
Woh, yo sigo
Woh, yo sigo
Woh, yo sigo
Woh
Aguántalo, papi

Chance The Rapper – Favorite Song (feat. Childish Gambino) lyrics

[Verse 1: Chance The Rapper]
Chance, acid rapper, soccer, hacky sacker
Cocky khaki jacket jacker
Slap-happy faggot slapper
Iraqi rocket launcher
Shake that Laffy Taffy, jolly raunchy rapper
Dang, dang, dang – skeet, skeet, skeet
She do that thing for three retweets
The album feel like ’92
Then take that bomb for Heat, three-peat
Chance, ho, I said, cruising on that LSD
Ask yourself about my deal
You’ll go batshit – “hell yeah, let’s eat!”

[Hook:]
This shit my favorite song, you just don’t know the words
But I still fuck with you, you just ain’t never heard
It go like: count that stack, pop that cap then down that Jack
All my niggas hit that zan, and all my ladies ’bout that bag
This my jam, this my jam, this my jam, this my jam
I’m ’bout that jam, I’m ’bout that jam, I’m ’bout that jam, I’m ’bout that jam
This my jam, this my jam, this my jam, this my jam
I’m ’bout that jam, I’m ’bout that jam, I’m ’bout that jam, I’m bout that jam

[Verse 2: Chance The Rapper]
Young Rascal Flatts – young ass kid ass could rap
Fuck all the faculty, tobacco-packing acrobat
Back-to-back packin’ bags back and forth with fifths of Jack
Enforce the weed, I’m back to pack on hands
With young Cletus to pat my back
Real nigga with a nose ring, that’s right
Just here to rap them songs
Rag on my hair wrap, weed in Vegas, rockin’ Vagabonds
Sang a song, oh you don’t know? What?
Well, I still bang with you
Hang with you, sip drank with you
As long as I can sang with you like:

[Hook]

[Verse 3: Childish Gambino]
Niggas please be focused – that ‘Bino, you know this
He rep the home of Sosas, you know I’m from that Zone 6
You know I rep that Stone shit, you know your ‘hood is so clit
As God as my witness, this Will Smith spit real shit
I’m a be that – CG busy gettin’, where the weed at?
Bought your girl some new kneepads
You’re fuckin’ with the Fifi bag
My stars, egad, she said: “this my favorite song”
“Hold my purse” – now she on the floor, droppin’ like it’s hot
You blast this shit in Abercrombie when your work is finished
Your mom won’t play it in the car cause it’s got cursing in it
Your boy like: “I’m the one who showed you, ” he want his percentage
Cause you were like: “this ain’t the nigga you said spittin’, is it?”
Two-step – white dude’s Harlem Shake
Why you laughing? Cause you Harlem Shake?
I was never fake, I was just too good to be true
That’s acid rap, we killed the track
You had your chance, and ‘Bino too

[Hook]

JAY-Z Will Not Be Performing At 2018 Grammy’s Despite Reports

JAY-Z will not be performing at this weekend’s 2018 Grammy Awards despite recent reports suggesting that he will.

Hov is going into the Grammys with the most nominations this year and everything assumed that he would be taking the stage possibly with Beyonce to perform “Family Feud” or even “4:44.” JAY-Z made a grand return to the music scene last year with his blockbuster album 4:44. That project is one of the most respected albums last year and will go down in history as one of the rap legend’s best body of work.

Last week there was some reporting floating around online claiming that Hov will be performing at the Grammy’s, but now Hits Daily Double is countering those chatters with new reports that he has no plans to take the stage.

The Grammy’s has already announced an all-star lineup including acts like Bruno Mars, Rihanna, DJ Khaled, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Childish Gambino and more. The last time JAY-Z performed at the Grammy’s was back in 2014 when he took the stage with Beyonce to perform “Drunk In Love: from her self-titled album. This year a performance on the big stage would be like icing on the cake for Jay’s fans given the success of his 4:44 album.

Bruno Mars and Cardi B will be performing their new hit “Finesse” while DJ Khaled and Rihanna will be performing their monster hit “Wild Thoughts. The Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS from Madison Square Gardens in New York on Sunday night. Stay tuned to DancehallHipHop for more reporting on the Grammy’s, particularly the Best Reggae Album category. It will be interesting to see who win.

Quavo and Childish Gambino Hints At Some Joint Music Coming

Quavo and Childish Gambino are cooking up some new music in the studio.

The Migos rapper recently wrapped up his joint album with Travis Scott and already he is moving on to work on something new, this time with his fellow Atlanta artist and close friend Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover. Quavo ignite Instagram yesterday when he posted a photo of himself and Gambino in the studio. The pic shows the “Portland” rapper appears to be cutting up weed while Glover stands in front of a laptop. “H U N C H O G L O V E R N A W F A T L A N T A,” he wrote in the caption.

He didn’t revealed what they are working on but it could be music or some TV production. Migos appeared on the first season of Donald Glover’s hit comedy TV series Atlanta. He won a Golden Globe award for the show and gave Migos a big shou-out during his acceptance speech when he praised them for their single “Bad and Boujee” and even refers to the group as the Beatles of this generation.

This is the second time that the two posted a photo of themselves in the studio together in recent weeks. Back in October, they posted a pic of Quavo, Donald Glover, Lil Yachty, and Chance The Rapper in the studio together. The final products from those recording sessions are not here as yet, but we are all waiting patiently. Quavo is one of the most requested artists this year for guest verses on other artists music. He is also one of the most streamed artists on Spotify this year as he continues to build a catalog for himself out of the group. Migos is currently working on their new album Culture 2, which they say is coming soon.

Donald Glover continues to have an amazing year with Atlanta TV series winning two Emmys on Sunday including creating history.

Glover won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in the hit FX series and then he created history by becoming the first African American to win an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Directing In a Comedy Series. To make it even more impressive, he beat out competition from other hit TV shows like Veep and Silicon Valley. In January of this year, Glover won himself two Golden Glove awards and last night he went into the Emmys with five nominations and walked away with two.

Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, debut the comedy series Atlanta on FX last year and it became an instant hit. The second season was delayed until 2018 when it will begin filming. The rapper/actor thanked his parents, his son, his wife and his Atlanta castmates while accepting the award. He also thanked his friend Hiro Murai for teaching him about directing.

“He taught me everything about directing,” Glover said. “He had the eye for this show and he’s just amazing. I really want to give this to Hiro and just say ‘I love you and thank you for being my best friend.’”
