Meek Mill is celebrating his legal victory with a new music video for “Fall Thru.”
The Maybach Music Group rapper received some good news yesterday when the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that Judge Genece Brinkley should make a ruling on his bail application. The video starts out with Meek Mill calling up his girl and telling her to “Fall Thru” when she is done working. The MC then take us on a trip down memory lane from when he and his ride or die chick just met.
“I was locked up, I remember when I hit you / Used to write me back every letter that I sent you / You wasn’t my girl but you used to pretend to / When I came home, let me beat it instrumental / Lame left you scarred so I had to reinvent you,” Meek raps. Some fans thinks that he is rapping about his now ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj.
There is also a scene where Meek Mill popped a wheelie before pulling up to see his girl. Earlier this year he was arrested in New York City for popping a wheelie in the street and that formed part of his now legal troubles involving probation violation that he is serving 2-4 years in prison for. At the end of the video #Justice4Meek came onto the screen.
Meek Mill is currently fighting for his freedom midst a shocking 4 years prison sentence for probation violation. The judge in his probation case, Genece Brinkley, has been under heavy criticisms from all quarters of the country since handing down the sentencing earlier this month. Just this week, Civil Rights Activist Reverend Al Sharpton and rap legend JAY-Z spoke out about the unjust system of mass incarceration of young African American males. Despite the prison term, Meek is remaining positive, his representatives said. Comment on the video below.
