It’s practically a rite of passage for hot rappers to jump on a song with Maroon 5, the Adam Levine-fronted pop band. With a massive 2020 behind her, Megan Thee Stallion is next up on the docket, joining Maroon 5 on their new single “Beautiful Mistakes.” It’s trap-inspired pop music, and I can very easily imagine hearing this while buying Cheetos in a Walgreens. Listen above.

Speaking with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Levine sang Megan’s praises for her contributions to the song. “The way she built her part was just, it couldn’t have been a more epic kind of climax for the song. I mean, it really is absolutely perfect. So, I mean, what she did was just miraculous, and it brought the song to a whole new level.”

In the same interview, Levine said that Maroon 5 have completed an album. A release date hasn’t been announced.
